Innovation Cluster Initiative
An enablement factor for empowering innovation and entrepreneurship through the creation of public-private-partnerships.
Innovation clusters operate in a single geographic scope to maximize interest and impact. An IC maintains its role as an engine for growth and economic development. It hosts key ingredients of innovative ideas, and successful startups. It also creates new job opportunities.
Each cluster operates within a certain geographic scope to maximize interest and impact and work as an engine for economic development, host of innovative ideas, successful startups, and leader in creation of jobs in this specific scope.
Business and Technology Scope
Activities are focused on a specific business sector with high economic growth potential that is ICT-enabled, or on a specific ICT technology sector that has a high potential of becoming a booming industry in the near future.
Public Private Partnerships
A group of legal entities forms the clusters of innovation. Members of a cluster are universities, private companies, entrepreneurship centers, NGOs, and VCs. They consort with a government entity. In our initiative, the IT Industry Development Agency is a governmental partner. Activities rely on intensive interactions among members. They contribute to HR, technology, facilities, knowledge, and experience. Inputs reflect on developing cluster members and their community.
